Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Dual Logic Labs ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Murder Matrix mobile application (the "App").

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

How We Use Your Information

We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:

Data Retention

Firebase Analytics data is retained for 90 days by default. Leaderboard scores and display names stored in Firebase Firestore are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Saved game data stored via Google Play Games Services is retained until you delete your Google Play Games account or request deletion.

Web Version

The web version of Murder Matrix (duallogiclabs.com/murder-matrix) does not use Google Play Games Services or Firebase Analytics. However, it does use Firebase Authentication and Firebase Firestore for the daily leaderboard — an anonymous identifier is created for your browser session, and your solve time and display name are submitted to the leaderboard when you complete a daily puzzle. Game progress (completed puzzles, in-progress marks, and locked placements) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage and never leaves your device. Local data can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data associated with your account. You can change your leaderboard display name at any time in Settings. To request deletion of your leaderboard scores or saved game data, please contact us. You can also remove the App's Google Play Games access via your Google Play Games account settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
